Brooklyn Bridge Park and NYC City Hall Wedding
Emily and Joe got married at New York City Hall, also known as the Marriage Bureau, and decided to do an extended portrait session at the Brooklyn Bridge Park after their wedding ceremony.
I met them right when the clerks office opened at 8.30am. Since it was a Tuesday there was almost no one there and they were number #3 and we went through in 30 minutes. The most popular day is Friday so on those it can take up to 3 hours but the average is 1-2 hours.
After a fun time at City Hall we took a cab down to Brooklyn Bridge Park for some more wedding photos. They love Dumbo and the Brooklyn Bridge and we walked around for about one hour taking their wedding portraits.
The Brooklyn Bridge Park area is my favorite location because of the variety of photos I can get of my couples. You have the stunning views of course, cobble stone, greenery, graffiti and great backdrops all around!
Here is Emily in her own words: Yelp Review “During the session he gave us great direction for how to pose which at the time felt sort of funny, but after seeing how the pictures came out the directions were right on point.”
I hope you enjoyed my couples New York City Hall wedding and got some ideas and inspirations.
