Brooklyn Elopement
Meghan and Adam had a relaxed and super fun Brooklyn Elopement! It involved a NYC ferry ride to their ceremony!
We met up on the Brooklyn Bridge and slowly walked around in Dumbo towards the NYC ferry stop by Brooklyn Bridge Park. After our 45 minute photo session we hopped onto the ferry to LIC. The ferry is a fun and budget friendly ride. One subway fare ($2.75) get’s you a one way ticket to almost anywhere in NYC! Since their ceremony was in Long Island City I suggested we opt for the ferry rather than a Lyft ride. It basically takes the same amount of time but is obviously a lot more fun and eventful!
I took some photos on the ferry ride but after a little while I really just wanted them to take it all in and get ready for their ceremony. Once we got off the boat we got a warm welcome from the always lovely officiant Jackie. Their family also met us there and the stage for a great ceremony was set.
The views of Manhattan from LIC are just stunning and you couldn’t ask for a more picturesque backdrop.
