Kind of a dream wedding for me to photograph. Especially since it took place at the Housing Works Bookstore which is a really unique and beautiful space. I love being able to photograph from above which this venue allows and I love having time to focus on portraits which this couple gave me plenty off!
I met Andrea at the Nolitan Hotel where we did some getting ready photos and lots of bridal portraits before JP came in to do the first look. The room was covered with floor to wall windows which is a dream! After a few more portraits with the two of them in the hotel lobby the three of us and their maid of honor and best man jumped into the limo. We headed down to Battery Park and spend about 30 minutes for photos before heading to the Housing Works Bookstore in SoHo.
Once we arrived they hid in the limo for a little bit to give all their guest time to get seated. Now it was time to get married amongst their friends and family and all the books. After the ceremony the party started and I loved being able to photograph from all different angles thanks to there being a second floor for me to roam around and snap pictures from.
Great venue and a great and easy going couple!
